Kathy joined the Maurer Foundation in 2012 after many years of working in financial services. Her transition from the corporate world to the non-profit world came about due to her passion for educating others and her strong interest in the breast education programs the Maurer Foundation provides. She’s a firm believer in the power of education and gets to see, firsthand, the impact the Maurer Foundation is making. When she’s not delivering school and corporate programs, Kathy is a very active volunteer working at various fundraising events with the American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. On her “off days,” she can typically be found volunteering at blood drives sponsored by the New York Blood Bank. She also enjoys traveling and family time.
