The Young Professionals Committee (YPC) was established to garner support for the Maurer Foundation by spreading our life-saving message of breast health education and breast cancer prevention to up-and-coming professionals and the community of Long Island.
These inspiring young professionals seek to raise funds and awareness in support of the Foundation’s mission and programming by hosting events for their peers, and in turn, aspire to cultivate a network of the next generation of Long Island community leaders. The YPC events offer opportunities to support breast health education while encouraging volunteerism and fostering business and philanthropic connections with peers.
The committee was formed in late 2015, with their first event—Cocktails for a Cause—debuting with great success in February 2016. Interested in attending future YPC events?
