The Maurer Foundation is looking for volunteers to serve on its fundraising committee! If you are looking to reach others and make a difference, this is an excellent opportunity to participate in efforts to benefit breast health education programs and events that can help save lives.
The Maurer Foundation organizes a broad range of fundraisers, from business partnerships to Cookies For A Cause sales to youth community service projects. These initiatives have become so popular and well received that the Foundation decided to form a committee specializing in fundraising efforts.
Anytime is a great time to plan various charitable events for a meaningful cause. Private parties can double as fundraisers, with entry fees or raffles serving as donations. Shops and restaurants may choose to offer “Give Back Days” during which they contribute a certain portion of sales proceeds to breast health. There are a number of other fundraising options and possibilities as well!
All of the Foundation’s fundraisers benefit our breast health education programs, which can lead to early detection of breast cancer and increase chances of survival. Our presentations address myths, risk factors and more with regard to breast cancer, as well as information about breast breast self-exams and mammograms.
