I recently stumbled upon a great site called Vivanista. The site is dedicated to all things philanthropy: from fundraising for non profits to volunteering for the average do-gooder!
Through insightful and creative articles, Vivanista discusses things such as online fundraising, social networking sites, fresh new event ideas and current events such as the oil disaster in the Gulf. They provide interesting tips from industry experts and even have lots of fun stuff like an article on Voluntourism and a “What Celebrity Philanthropist can you Most Relate To” quiz.
The best part is their event calendar! It’s amazing how much is going on all over the country – anyone can get invloved. So check it out and see if anything strikes your fancy ;-)
