The support we’ve been getting from schools all over New York has really been amazing!  In October, students in health teacher Steven Cavalli’s classes at the School for Human Rights in Brooklyn, NY, organized a walk to raise money for The Maurer Foundation.  The students walked on their high school track and invited some staff members to walk with them.  They picked up some people to join them who were either walking for exercise or jogging.  “All in all we had a blast and my students raised the money from friends and family members to help your foundation and to help the breast cancer awareness cause,” Mr. Cavalli said. “Keep up the great work that you do by visiting schools and educating young women and men about the risks and preventive measures to help avoid such a devastating disease.
