The Maurer Foundation is extremely excited to announce the appointment of Amanda Sexton to our Board of Directors.
Ms. Sexton currently serves as an Accountant and Valuation Analyst with Markowitz, Fenelon & Bank and brings more than 10 years of public accounting experience, in the areas of business valuation, litigation support, accounting, and auditing. Her clients include not-for-profit organizations, as well as closely-held businesses and individuals. She has been involved with The Maurer Foundation for over 7 years.
Ms. Sexton actively participates in various professional and charitable organizations, including the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, Suffolk Chapter (as incoming President effective June 1, 2017), Co-Founder and current Co-Chairperson of the East End Committee, Treasurer of the Risk Management Association (Long Island Chapter), volunteer for Hope House Ministries, and Long Island Coalition for the Homeless and Christmas Magic.
