One in eight women will develop breast cancer! Our Educational Outreach Program teaches what you can do to reduce your risk and how to do a proper breast self-exam. Our program helps dispel myths and fears about this devastating illness. This program is conducted onsite at high schools, colleges, community group meetings and businesses. Educator Training

Breast Health Educator Training and Certification Program

Build on the knowledge gained from The Maurer Institute Online Breast Health Course. This hands-on training provides trainees with the skills necessary to detect breast lumps. Using high-fidelity silicone breast models, trainees will learn how to perform and teach the MammaCare® method of breast self examination (BSE). Participants will also have the ability to practice effective presentation and public-speaking skills that will enhance the learner’s success as a breast health educator.

Date

1 1/2 day course* schedule upon registration.

Location

Facilitated at the Maurer Foundation headquarters. If you require a Maurer Foundation certified breast health specialist to deliver the training at another venue, travel and lodging must be provided.

Cost

$500. Price includes course materials.

Upon completion

Certificate received upon successful completion.

*Attendance for both days is required for successful completion of the training. Participants must have successfully completed The Maurer Institute-Online Breast Health Course.
