HundredX

Supporters make their voices count for breast health! Every opinion you shared through HundredX turned into real dollars for The Maurer Foundation. 

Hockey with a Heart

The Islanders selected The Maurer Foundation to be the Hockey with a Heart charity of the game when the Isles took on the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday, October 21st at UBS Arena. Portions of their 50/50 raffle proceeds were donated to support us. 

School Fundraisers

This October schools across our area made a difference for breast cancer! The incredible students and staff of PS/MS 47Q hosted two bake sales, a dress-down day, and a walkathon on the Rockaway Beach Boardwalk to raise funds and awareness. The Kicks for Cancer Soccer Game was held at Hauppauge High School in support of us. Cherry Avenue Elementary School sent their Denim Dollars, which allows faculty and staff to wear jeans on Fridays. Garden City Thunder Football players wore pink socks all October long to raise awareness and funds. Jericho Varisty Tennis held a Tennis with the Teachers tournament. 

Huntington Honda

Our friends at Huntington Honda know how to make an impact! For every for every test drive in October they donated to The Maurer Foundation.

Shipwreck Cove

Ship Wreck Cove LI brought the spooky Halloween vibes to breast cancer awareness month by accepting donations at their haunted pirate Halloween display in Massapequa. 

Nissan of Westbury

Nissan of Westbury is driving change! For every vehicle purchased in October, they donated $25 to The Maurer Foundation to support lifesaving breast health education.

Brighton Collectibles

Supporters helped spread breast cancer awareness by adorning themselves with some new jewelry from Brighton Collectibles in The Walt Whitman Shops! For each piece of jewelry purchased from their Power of Pink Collection, a portion of the proceeds was donated to us. 

Volkswagen of West Islip

Cars purchased from Volkswagen of West Islip in October also helped save lives. All month long, Volkswagen of West Islip donated $25 per vehicle sold to The Maurer Foundation.

Lafayette 148

On October 23rd guests sipped and shopped in honor of our Founder, Dr. Virginia Maurer at Lafayette 148 at Americana Manhasset. 10% of event sales were donated to us.

North Coast Subaru

Test driving a Subaru made a big difference this past October! For every test drive our friends at North Coast Subaru in Glen Cove made a donation in support of us.

Headwall Theatre Company

The Headwall Theatre Company hosted a production of Hyper-Bare It by Lesley Shires on October 4th and 5th. After the performance, The Maurer Foundation was present to offer up breast health info and collect donations. 

Garden City Mazda

During the month of October, Garden City Mazda made a donation to The Maurer Foundation for every test drive taken.

Pack Athletic Club

Pack Athletic Club in Deer Park hosted their Shoot Out Cancer event all month in honor of us. They also hosted a Halloween Happy Hour at Miller’s Ale House on November 1st in honor of us.

Dan’s Pet Care

Our long-term partner, Dan’s Pet Care, held their annual Paws for Cause event, selling t-shirts and dog bandanas.
