Douglas Marks, MD

Douglas Marks, MD is a breast medical oncologist at Perlmutter Cancer Center at NYU Winthrop. Dr. Marks joined Perlmutter Cancer Center following a fellowship program in Oncology/Hematology at Columbia University Medical Center.  He is currently involved in several research endeavors focused on better understanding the interaction between an individual patient’s immune system and breast cancer. Dr. Marks’ research projects were accepted for presentation at the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium, the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Society for Immunology of Cancer, and the ECOG-ACRIN Cancer Research Group. Dr. Marks received his medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 2012, where he also completed residency training in Internal Medicine. During that residency, he was awarded the Klaudia Ewa Knapik Memorial Award (“Top Resident”) by faculty of the Department of Medicine.
