As a dedicated leader, and husband of a breast cancer survivor, David Marino is humbled yet honored to lend his support to The Maurer Foundation.
Jericho, NY – American Global is pleased to announce that David Marino, Group President, was named the 2023 Honoree of the Maurer Foundation’s Pink Diamond Gala to be held October 13th at the Garden City Hotel. For nearly 30 years, The Maurer Foundation, established by Dr. Virginia E. Maurer, has been dedicated to saving lives through breast health education, focusing on breast cancer prevention, risk reduction and healthy lifestyle choices. Their mission is one that hits close to home for Marino, whose wife, Karen, is herself, a breast cancer survivor.
David is a lifelong Long Island resident and honored to have the opportunity to lend his voice and support for the Foundation’s lifesaving work. As the father of three — Alexander, Kristina and Matthew — and the Chief Operating Officer of a closely held Long Island-based brokerage with global reach, David is acutely aware of how cancer can impact any family, be it at work or at home. David said “We have an amazing organization and talented colleagues we work with daily. I have seen first-hand how health impacts both our personal and professional lives. The good work that the Maurer Foundation does to promote breast health awareness is so critical to our community, I am grateful for the recognition as their 2023 Honoree.”
