East Islip High School Raises Funds For Breast Cancer Awareness

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, members of the East Islip Girls Leaders Club at East Islip High School will be selling pink and white Maurer Foundation cookies. The students will be selling them to peers and fellow classmates during the school day and at sporting events. According to school official Kimm Schwarz, “The cookies are a great way for the teenage population to become aware of the magnitude of breast cancer on Long Island.”

We can’t thank you ladies enough! The majority of our breast cancer workshops are presented at high schools, so it feels great knowing students support us and share our passion for breast health education.
