In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month Maurer Foundation Program Director Susan Simon will be speaking on breast cancer prevention at Get Pink On Purpose, Monday October 24th at 7:30 pm at St. Luke School in Whitestone.
The event will be an evening of lectures and video presentations on early detection, breast health, and surviving breast cancer as well as music, refreshments and raffle baskets. Additional guest speakers include Dr. Jonathan Herman, MD and Dr. Alyson Moadel, Ph.D. Admissions are $5 and proceeds will go to AICR (American Institute for Cancer Research) and Angels of the Bay.
