Fun & Simple Student Fundraising Ideas For Breast Cancer Awareness Month

A big thanks goes to the students of the BOCES Student Council in East Northport, who sold cookies as part of our Cookies For A Cause program last October.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is October and students all over Long Island and New York City are gearing up for pink-themed school fundraising events. Short on ideas? Here are some fun and simple fundraisers:

  • Pink Costume Contest – Students and faculty wear their craziest pink outfits. $1 casts a vote for your favorite. Multiple votes allowed. The costume with the most votes gets an award.
  • Car Wash
  • Sell Pink and White Cookies – Have a bake sale and sell Maurer Foundation cookies or your own homemade treats. Many thanks to Sachem H.S., East Islip H.S., and BOCES students who raised money with this fun and yummy fundraising idea.
  • Plant Sale
  • Dress Down Day – Great for schools with uniforms! Pay a “fee” to dress casual for the day and donate to a breast cancer cause. Discounts for pink outfits!

Check out some of the great custom fundraisers we’ve done in the past. Have a great breast cancer fundraising idea or want to get involved? We’d love to hear from you!
