A Night of Impact

The Maurer Foundation kicked off Breast Cancer Awareness Month on Friday, October 2nd, with its annual Pink Diamond Gala at The Garden City Hotel, bringing together supporters for an evening dedicated to breast health education and early detection.

This year, we proudly honored Catherine Marano, President, CEO, and Founder of Highway Safety Protection Corp., for her longstanding support of The Maurer Foundation and her dedication to our mission.

Inspiring the Next Generation

We welcomed Hannah Yoselowitz and Maddie Weiner, seniors at John F. Kennedy High School in Bellmore, whose initiative brought The Maurer Foundation’s breast health education program to their school. The two students shared their experiences and demonstrated the powerful role young people can play in bringing breast health education to their peers.

From exciting auctions and raffle prizes to a lively dance floor, the evening was filled with energy and generosity. Thanks to our incredible sponsors, donors, and guests, we are continuing to bring life-saving breast health education to communities across Long Island and New York City.
