Our Inaugural Pink Ribbon Run/Walk took place October 11th – 25th, bringing together almost 120 supporters nationwide and raising over $8,000 for breast health education. Participants were able to choose from 5 different events – 5K, ¼ Mile, Name Your Distance, Take Your Dog for a Walk or You Asked, We Answered (where you select your favorite form of exercise). Everyone was able to get out and enjoy the beautiful fall weather, either alone, in their social bubble or with their furry friends.
It was inspiring to welcome participants from across the country, including Milwaukee, Austin, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Chicago, Buffalo, Massachusetts, Florida, and our very own NYC area. Congratulations go out to our top fundraiser, Jodee Sarisky. And to our Longest Distance runner, Marjorie Gallagher.
