Friends and family laced up their sneakers and enjoyed a beautiful fall day for our 2nd Annual Pink Ribbon Run/Walk, which took place Oct. 16 – Oct. 31. Participants chose from their favorite event – 5K, ¼ Mile, Name Your Distance or Take Your Dog for a Walk, raising over $5,000 in support of our programs.
Everyone dressed in their best pink clothing and set out from a variety of locations, including The Bronx Zoo, Central Park, beach front settings and simply strolling around their neighborhood to get some exercise and complete their Run/Walk.
