For the ninth year in a row, wine company Fat Bastard donated a portion of their September and October sales to the Maurer Foundation as well as several other breast cancer charities. Twenty-five cents was donated for each bottle of wine sold during their annual Breast Cancer Awareness Month campaign, raising a total of $2,500 for the Foundation.
Fat Bastard is a line of affordable French wines sourced in Languedoc-Roussillon. The wine collection includes Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Rosé, Pinot Noir, Shiraz, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The Chardonnay of Fat Bastard’s line was chosen by The Wine Trails in 2010 as one of the best 150 wines under $15.
