WALK 97.5 Releases Sixth CD to Benefit Long Island Breast Cancer Organizations

Sales from WALK 97.5’s CD, “Yesterday and Today 2005” will benefit The Maurer Foundation
The Maurer Foundation for Breast Education announces the release of WALK 97.5’s CD, “Yesterday and Today 2005.” Net proceeds from the sale of the CD will benefit The Maurer Foundation and other local breast cancer charities through the WALK for Women Breast Cancer Fund. The WALK CD will feature a medley of today’s hottest adult contemporary artists including Rod Stewart, Maroon 5, Bryan Adams, Celine Dion, Earth, Wind & Fire and more. The CD will sell for $9.75 + tax with 100% of the net proceeds benefiting the WALK for Women Breast Cancer Fund, which supports service-oriented groups and programs, education aimed at prevention of disease, community outreach and advocacy with a special emphasis on the underserved populations on Long Island.

The Foundation’s Executive Director, Kim Rozzi, noted, “This CD is a fun way to support a great cause. We at The Maurer Foundation are delighted to once again partner with WALK in support of our breast health education programs.”

Proceeds will be presented to participating breast cancer organizations in November.
