The Maurer Foundation is thrilled to announce the appointment of two new Board Members, Anne Marie Immerso, of Signature Bank and Donald Gelestino, of Champion Elevator. Anne Marie and Don are not newcomers to The Maurer Foundation as they have both been long-term supporters of The Foundation. They have served as Co-Chairs of our Golf Committee for the past few years and as such have been responsible for the success of the event. Don and Anne Marie bring a unique set of skills and unparalleled enthusiasm as new board members for The Maurer Foundation.
Anne Marie Immerso currently serves as Group Director & Senior Vice President of Signature Bank. She is an accomplished and highly regarded banking professional with over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Since Anne Marie began her career in the 1980’s with European American Bank, her stellar performance record and expert knowledge has propelled her to progressively more responsible positions in all facets of finance. Her impressive portfolio of long-term clients have come to know her as a trusted advisor and unwavering advocate for their financial success. Anne Marie’s extensive expertise in banking and business make her an invaluable asset to the Board of Directors.
Donald Gelestino possesses over 30 year of experience in the elevator industry. As the President and Founder of Champion Elevator, Don brings with him unparalleled business acumen. Don began his career in 1986 with DECO Elevator, exceling in all facets of the trade. This expertize allowed him to start his first company Ver-Tech Elevator 
Co., Inc. Through Don’s expert guidance and management, he transformed this company into a multi-million dollar force within the elevator industry, successfully negotiating its lucrative sale, which subsequently allowed Don to embark on his newest venture with the founding of his company Champion Elevator in 2015. Through Champion Elevator, Don is able to display his exceptional leadership and the professionalism that have been hallmarks of his illustrious career.
Once again, we welcome Anne Marie and Don to our Board of Directors, their experience and passion for our mission are sure to invaluable assets for years to come. Thanks to the support of board members, The Maurer Foundation has been able to reach hundreds of thousands of people with life saving breast health information. The charity’s efforts to extend their education programs to an even broader audience continue as part of their mission to raise breast health awareness.
