Dr. Corinne Tobin, MD

Corinne E. Tobin, MD is the director of mammography for NYU’s Long Island Division. Dr. Tobin completed her undergraduate training at Yale University and received her medical degree at New York Medical College. She then completed a diagnostic radiology residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in New York. She obtained fellowship training in Women’s Imaging at the Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, under the directorship of Dr. Ellen Mendelson, a leader in the breast imaging field. Dr. Tobin has had numerous publications in the fields of breast ultrasound, breast MRI, breast intervention, and evaluation of the post surgical breast. She has also lectured locally on such topics as advances in breast cancer detection, breast intervention, and mammography and breast ultrasound technique. Dr. Tobin has also been a clinical image reviewer for the American College of Radiology Mammography Accreditation Program. She is a member of the American College of Radiology, the Society of Breast Imaging, the Metropolitan Mammography Society, and the Radiological Society of North America.
