Breast Cancer Doesn’t Just Happen In October

I just got back from teaching my first high school of the semester, Brentwood High School in Long Island. I had a great time and I’m glad that the school year is back in full swing. With that being said, I wanted to take this time to stress the importance of how breast health is a year round issue. Next month is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and our educators will be out nearly every day all over New York educating various schools, organizations and businesses. There are some new and exciting venues on the horizon that we will be venturing into in the coming weeks as well as other locations that have been long supporters of The Maurer Foundation cause.

Our mission is to save lives and we need your (that’s right, you) help in doing so. So although October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, keep in mind that we teach 365 days out of the year. Try to book your program as soon as possible as our schedule does fill up fast but remember to also keep us in mind after October.
