Lax for ME & the GALS, held October 27, 2013, benefited both the Maurer Foundation breast cancer prevention programs and the Girls Athletic League of Smithtown (GALS).

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, throughout October, The Maurer Foundation will receive a portion of sales of Brighton Collectible’s new 2013 Power of Pink bracelet.
The Athleta “Ladies Night Out” fundraiser enjoyed an impressive showing of guests who took part in shopping and many other highlights in a celebratory atmosphere that benefited The Maurer Foundation’s breast health education programs.
As educators who regularly present breast health programs to teenagers and young women, National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month is of the utmost importance to us.
