LAX for ME & the GALS, held October 27, 2013, benefitted both the breast cancer non-profit The Maurer Foundation and the girls lacrosse non-profit G.A.L.S.
On October 29th, Early College High School students sold breast cancer pins and raised over $200 to support our breast health education programs.
We at The Maurer Foundation are deeply concerned about the rising rates of diabetes across America, and the apparent links between diabetes and breast cancer.
The Maurer Foundation launches the Pinky Swear Program, which brings mothers and daughters together with a pledge to take care of their breast health.
The Maurer Foundation will host a free breast health program for women and teens at 6:30 p.m. on December 3 at their Hauppauge, Long Island, NY office.
For all sales made Friday, December 6, from 6-8 p.m at the American Manhasset J. Crew store, 25% of proceeds will support the our breast health programs.
Do your holiday shopping at participating Americana Manhasset stores Nov. 24 and Dec. 5-7, 2013 and 25% of the proceeds will go to The Maurer Foundation.
