Penelope Wamboldt
Executive Director
Susan Simon
Sr. Program Educator
What drew Susan to the Maurer Foundation was her mother, who is a 13-year breast cancer survivor. Susan uses her background in public speaking and advertising to educate people of all ages about early detection of breast cancer, and because of her mother, this is a very personal issue for her. Before joining the Maurer Foundation, Susan worked in advertising at Foote, Cone and Belding and was a public speaker and educator for Wood Tobe Coburn College in Manhattan, NY. When she's not educating, she loves to Samba and Jazz dance, and travel with her husband.
