The Maurer Foundation’s March 14th Flamingo Bowl event raised close to $20,000 to benefit breast health education. The first time Sunday afternoon event held at 300 Long Island was well received by 91 amateur kingpins.
Happily all the participants enjoyed two games of bowling and many laughs. The overall consensus from the majority was they forgot how much fun bowling is and can be! The Melville based bowling alley did a wonderful job providing pizza, vegetable platters and fresh fruit for our guests.
A few of our lucky raffle winners left the event with an autographed NY Jets Football, tickets to an Islander Game, a pink leather Radley handbag and a $250 gift card to Americana Manhasset.
