Patty has worked as a Maurer Foundation Program Educator for the past year and understands the foundation’s mission. Patty lost her mother to breast cancer and survived her own battle after finding a lump at 34 years old while doing a breast self-exam. Patty has always said that knowledge is power and if she had known then what we teach today, her own experiences may have been different.
